From 9 to 12 June 2026, ICAMT Vice Chair Danusa Castro attended FIEXPO Latin America in San José, Costa Rica, as a guest. As a leading platform for the international meetings and incentives industry in Latin America and the Caribbean, FIEXPO brought together professionals and organizations from across the region.

Her participation was particularly relevant in the context of ICAMT’s forthcoming 52nd International Annual Conference, which will take place in Quito, Ecuador, from 18 to 21 November 2026, under the theme “Transforming Museum Spaces and Practices: Architecture, Sustainability, Collections, and Exhibitions in Latin America, the Caribbean and Beyond.”

As ICAMT (now ICOM ARCHI-TECHS) continues to engage with different countries, contexts, and museum communities, the connections established during FIEXPO will help reinforce the committee’s presence in the region and contribute to the development of future partnerships, activities, and potential new venues for future ICOM ARCHI-TECHS activities.
